adidas Basketball offers up a new look at the D Rose 3, this time paying homage to the most important person in Derrick’s life, his mother. The red nubuck upper represents her favorite color and the crackled grainy finish represents Derrick’s upbringing in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. The reverse of the tongue features her name, Brenda, in a stylized script and the right reverse tongue features Derrick’s signature. Other details include a black mudguard and a grey pinstripe along the outsole. The adidas D Rose 3 “Brenda” drops November 19 for $160, and will be available at adidas Basketball. MadOne
