Chapstick-Sized Camcorder Captures Action Scenes
About the size of a tube of Chapstick, the Replay XD is a durable action camcorder designed for capturing users in action The POV cam can be mounted to a skateboard, dashboard or helmet (without the coalminer look) to record up to 110 minutes of video. Two-button operation for on and off with vibrational feedback means the learning curve for this device is close to zero.
Replay XD comes with a flat mount that swivels and a clip mount that tilts. The omnidirectional built-in mic has been designed to alleviate wind-noise and distortion. Techwise, it's got a 640 x 480 resolution, 1.3-megapixel CMOS, and comes with a 4MB microSD card that holds about two hours of video, and a Li-ion rechargeable battery. Camera can be fully charged in about an hour. Its USB cable connects to both PC and Mac systems for viewing footage.
