Beyonce's Exotic Skins Sneakers Under Attack

 

Well here's one organization not feeling all the post-Super Bowl Beyonce love -- PETA, who's calling out the superstar for her new Isabel Marant wedge sneakers. ET can confirm that the exclusive sneakers are made out of crocodile and anaconda skins along with stingray, ostrich and calf hair. The shoes in question are custom designed by PMK, which explains the conception behind the design of the "King Bey" sneakers on its website. 

"Summoned by King Bee and given the task to create a custom design worthy of her approval, PMK takes the Isabel Marant sneaker wedge back to the beginning of time and gives it what they call the Eden treatment. A hybrid of land and sea skins are used to create this handcrafted creation. Stingray, Ostrich, calfs fur, Crocodile, and Anaconda give the already impeccable design attitude and the tones of white mixed with gold stitched details produces a feeling of elegance, mimicking the southern belle’s sweet and fierce persona."  The original Isabel Marant wedge sneakers -- sans the exotic skins -- have been a celeb favorite, worn by the likes of Anne Hathaway, Kate Bosworth and Gisele Bundchen. Beyonce herself wore an all-black suede version in the music video for her hit single Love on Top. Isabel Marant wedge sneakers retail for approximately $660 a pair.


 

Maybe she should keep it simple in the future with a pair of reebok classics.... it's still a good look and affordable might I add that in... I can't remember the last time a reebok was under attack.. lol MadOne

Nintendo Wii U Trailer, Release Date Nov. 18th

The console will come in two versions: a basic model with 8GB of storage for $300 and a 32GB model for $350.

Nintendo is expected to release 50 game titles from the launch on Nov. 18 through the end of March 2013, including a new version of Nintendo's classic "Super Mario Brothers," along with "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2," "Mass Effect III," "Assassin's Creed III" and "007 Legends." Two Platinum Games titles, "The Wonderful 101" and "Bayonetta 2," will be Wii U exclusives. Games will cost $60 apiece.  MadOne

Jay Z, Barclays Opener

NEW YORK (AP) — The newly built Barclays Center is the home of the Brooklyn Nets, and Jay-Z, an investor in the team, christened the venue Friday night in uniform, sporting a Nets hat and jersey as he rapped two dozen jams onstage in front of thousands. Jay-Z performed for an excited and rowdy crowd of 18,000, wearing a jersey that featured his last name, Carter, and the number four. It was his first of eight shows at the venue. As he emerged onstage, a video highlighting some of Brooklyn's historical moments — like when it was named an official borough of New York City — played in the background. There were also pictures of famous faces who were born in Brooklyn, from Michael Jordan to Al Capone to Aaliyah to Adam Yauch of Beastie Boys.

Jay-Z opened the show with the hometown anthems "Where I'm From," a song about his upbringing in Brooklyn's Marcy projects complex, and "Brooklyn Go Hard." He followed that with a tribute to one of Brooklyn's icons: the late Notorious B.I.G. He performed some of the rap vet's hit "Juicy" as the crowd joined in.

"Sing loud so he can hear you in heaven," said Jay-Z, who also held a moment of silence for the rapper, who was shot to death in 1997. Another Brooklynite — Big Daddy Kane — made an appearance, performing songs like "Ain't No Half Steppin'" and "Warm It Up, Kane." He received a roaring cheer from the crowd when performing old-school dance moves with two dancers in all white. Jay-Z said Friday's concert was incomparable to most of his other top-level performances, including the Grammys, Glastonbury or Coachella. Lady Gaga’s weight gain is due to a “life-threatening medical condition,” reports the National Enquirer, which explains the singer “has a family history of the auto-immune disease lupus.”

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom recently had a “huge fight,” and now their marriage is “in jeopardy,” reveals In Touch. The mag says Odom is “mad because their fertility issues were aired” on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” after he told Khloe he didn’t want the topic broadcasted.

Tom Cruise is ready to “move on” from Scientology,” reveals Star. The magazine explains that after “three failed marriages, a slumping career and the fear of losing Suri, Tom is desperate for a new life.”

Chris Brown and Nicole Scherzinger were spotted kissing recently at a Los Angeles club, reveals X17Online. The couple was “dancing close” and “being all touchy-feely” before they openly “started kissing,” reports the site.
