Khloe Kardashian Compares TSA Search To Rape

Khloe Kardashian hates flying – and doesn’t much appreciate the TSA’s new pat down security checks, either. Appearing Monday on ‘Lopez Tonight,’ the reality star told the host about a recent uncomfortable encounter she had at the airport.

“Well, they basically just are raping you in public. I got asked the other day, do you want to go for a screening or get padded down, I don’t want that X-Ray to see everything, honey,” she said. Perhaps it was a bad choice.

“The people are so aggressive! It’s like, ‘Chill out, you didn’t find anything on me yet, calm down,’” Kardashian pleaded. “They say, ‘OK, I’m going to be patting you down and I’m going to be touching the crease of your ass.’ That is so inappropriate!” Khloe isn’t the first Kardashian sister to have problems with the TSA – in September, sister Kim was photographed getting a full body metal detector wand search.

Space Dragon Soars

The spaceflight company Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, launched the world's first commercial space capsule into orbit and returned to Earth today in a huge leap forward for California-based company, private spaceflight and NASA's plan to rely on such spacecraft in the future.

SpaceX's first Dragon space capsule, as it is known, blasted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida at 10:43 a.m. EST (1543 GMT) today (Dec. 8), completed two orbits around Earth and then splashed down in the Pacific Ocean 500 miles (nearly 804 km) off the coast of Mexico to end what appears to be a successful demonstration flight.

Hang Time: SpaceX's first Dragon spacecraft dangles under its three main parachutes just before splashing down in the Pacific Ocean about 500 miles west of Mexico to complete its maiden test flight on Dec. 8, 2010. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said the landing almost a bull's eye, with the Dragon capsule splashing down just 10 miles away from its target zone.

SPLASHDOWN! Once the Dragon spacecraft was flying alone in space, it was time to record the view. This photo was released by SpaceX while Dragon was still in space. It shows the view from a camera mounted in the spacecraft's circular window.

Netflix flexes its muscles with ABC

Boasting strong growth, Netflix is now flexing its muscle in Hollywood with an announcement that the Internet film company has struck an agreement with Walt Disney to permit subscribers to gain access to hundreds of episodes of ABC, Disney Channel and ABC family 15 days after the shows are seen on TV.

The move gives Netflix further entree into the television industry, underscoring its success. Netflix now boasts nearly 17 million customers, which in turn gives ABC and the other Disney properties a path to potentially higher numbers of viewers.

The deal also points to increased cooperation between entertainment operations.
Hollywood seems to be in the grip of a spirit of cooperation, fueled by the pressures brought on by the weak global economy over the past several years. The pact also shows the need for entertainment companies like ABC to embrace the technologically advanced firms such as Netflix.

Spraying the Skies: 1975 U.S. Patent for Powder Contrail

Posted in this story is a very interesting PDF available for download here for a 1975 U.S. Patent issued to Donald K. Werle, Romas Kasparas, Sidney Katz, assigned through the U.S. Navy, that describes a dispersion method for a “powder contrail.”

As other researchers have also pointed out, the Powder Contrail Generation patent document could be a useful clue into the true agenda and purpose of the “chemtrail” phenomenon, which is clearly tied to almost a century of man-made weather manipulation. Already, it is admitted that the government has experimented with geo-engineering, which is says would help reflect heat and combat phony global warming / climate change.
It also references 5 other patents that deal with aviation fuel dispersants that go back to the 1920s. It further references the “chaff” application, as to create a radar jamming reflective screen, and other potential applications, including the use of numerous other powder formulas.

INFOGRAPHIC: Inside Look at SpaceX's Dragon Capsule

The private spaceflight company Space Exploration Technologies, or SpaceX, has added a new spacecraft to its fleet – the Dragon space capsule – that promises to be the first commercial spacecraft ever to make a round trip to low-Earth orbit.

Designed to launch on SpaceX's Falcon 9 rockets, the Dragon space capsule are expected to initially make unmanned cargo delivery flights to the International Space Station. But they could eventually be modified to serve as private space taxis for orbit-bound astronauts. Here's an inside look at the Dragon spacecraft:
