Schwarzenegger's Return to Genre?

With Arnold Schwarzenegger having now relinquished his political office as governor of California, the question amongst genre fans and movie goers in general is whether he will return to the silver screen in a big way. These past few months, he has revealed that he has scripts on his desk which he may or may not be involved in but this latest bit of news goes a bit beyond that. In fact, it goes to the point of revealing his possible involvement in remakes of Predator and Running Man not to mention a role in the next Terminator installment.

Big Arnold was posed a specific question while in attendance at "The Arnold Classic" and here's what he replied to his fandom at ArnoldFans.com. "Well, first of all it's more [than] 15 films, obvious ones from 'The Terminator' to remakes of 'Predator' and 'The Running Man' and all of those things," he said. "[There's] also a lot of original stuff too. But I am also packaging a comic book character right now. I'm going to announce that sometime by the end of March or the beginning of April."

There you go, Maniacs. Arnold is being asked for some high profile projects for his respective return to cinema and some of those could include remakes of The Running Man and Predator. And a return to the Terminator franchise... Mania.com
