After spending some time collecting dust on the shelves of development hell, it looks like Sony is preparing to move forward with Silent Hill: Revelations, a 3D sequel to their 2006 vidgame adaptation. The horror geeks over at Shock Til You Drop that helmer Michael J. Bassett (Soloman Kane) has been tapped to lead the direction on the upcoming tale. He'll be adapting the story from a screenplay by Roger Avary. No cast has been locked in yet.
Plot Concept: The story focuses on a protagonist named Heather Mason who, on the eve of her 18th birthday, is plagued by nightmares and now has to investigate the disappearance of her father.
