Miami’s two biggest stars played like it Thursday night, scoring all but two of the Heat’s points in an 18-3 run that turned a 12-point deficit late in the fourth quarter into an 83-80 victory and a spot in the NBA finals. They combined for 22 points in the final period—the rest of the Heat had four—and were merciless defensively on Derrick Rose, including James’ block of the MVP’s last-ditch shot. | D Wade is going back to the finals to play the Dallas Mavs. It is a repeat of the 2006 Finals. Miami won with a team that had Shaq at Center. The only remaining members from that team are Wade and Haslem. This time, Wade will have the support from Lebron James and Chris Bosh. |
