Millions Tune In To 'Love & Hip Hop': 10 More Episodes On The Way



(AllHipHop News) VH1 has announced they have green lighted season two of their hit reality series, "Love & Hip Hop." According to numbers released by VH1 today (May 25th), "Love & Hip Hop" was one of the most watched shows on the network during the season, averaging over 1 million total viewers per episode. The "Love & Hip-Hop" reunion special, which aired on Monday, May 16th, drew 1.3 million total viewers. The original cast members will return for season 2 of the reality show, according VH1, which also ordered a second series of the reality series "Mob Wives."

"Both 'Mob Wives' and 'Love & Hip Hop' are smash hits for VH1, generating strong buzz and viewership for months now," said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production, VH1. Jim
Jones' girlfriend Chrissy Lampkin, singer Olivia Longott, Fabolous' girlfriend Emily Bustamante and budding rapper Somaya "Boss" Reece are all slated to appear for a second time. VH1 has ordered 10 one-hour episodes for season two of "Love & Hip-Hop," which will premiere this fall.  "Our viewers have connected passionately with these women and their unique, authentic stories in the realms of pop culture and music," Olde continued. "We're very happy to be able continue those storylines."

"Love & Hip-Hop" is executive produced by Mona Scott-Young for Monami Entertainment.
